OUR STORY

 

When I started Love Dearly Pet Care, I made certain goals to set the bar as high as possible. I wanted to create a professional Home Pet Sitting Service for Nashville's working professionals that was made up of sincere, reliable, and knowledgeable individuals.

 

I decided at an early age that I wanted to pursue a career geared toward the nursing care of animals. I attended Murray State University with that passion in my heart, earning a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture with a minor in Animal Health Technology. I started pet sitting regularly while working towards my degree at Murray State. I quickly discovered how much I loved forming bonds with different pets and their people in a home environment.

 

After working eight years as a full time Veterinary Technologist and pet sitting in my free time, I began to realize that the families of Nashville were in need of a more personal and specialized Pet Sitting service.

 

At first I was fearful to start a business on my own, but I knew that God was calling me to pursue an exciting dream to better serve my community. After much planning, Love Dearly Pet Care became my second dream career.

 

In the Bible there are several verses describing Agape Love. In subtext, it is described as, "the love that a mother has for their child," or, "loving dearly." When we form bonds with our pets, I believe we can discover this unconditional & beautiful love. Caring for our animals can teach us to be more compassionate, patient, and thus can leads us to love people in a more selfless way.

 

It is my mission to allow pet families to travel freely knowing their beloveds are back at home making new friends, fun life memories, and receiving the absolute best care.
